A SNOWMASS
FAMILY ADVENTURE
From peaks to
precious moments.
First Tracks
Greetings from Snowmass!
Dear Uncle Johnny,
I am SO excited I learned how to do French-fry turns on my skis today. My teacher Sophie let us take a hot chocolate break in Lizard Lodge where only kids are allowed. Then we skied a trail in the trees, and I was the fastest one! After skiing, we got to make s’mores! You should come with us next time!
-Davis, 9 years old
The world-class ski school at Aspen Snowmass offers ski and snowboard lessons that make everyday on the slopes your best day on the slopes. Whether you’re a never-ever or a seasoned skier, your guide will help you improve your skills and show you the best the mountain has to offer.
The social slopes
In Snowmass, there is plenty of opportunity for your teenager to explore and be independent. You can rest assured that walking through the Snowmass Village and Mall, your teen will have a blast enjoying their own adventure. The Collective is a fun, central hub for your teenagers to hang with vacation friends or siblings and experience the Selfie Den, Game Lounge, or skating rink.

One of the perks that sets Snowmass apart from other mountain resort towns is the ease of traveling between the airport and the village. Your hotel shuttle can pick you up and take you to your slopeside lodging in less than 20 minutes.

Après slopeside with friends at Ranger Station and Venga Venga, and let the kids snack on s’mores nearby while watching the sun set on an amazing day of outdoor adventure.

Mom’s Packing List
On-the-slopes gear
Hot tub swimsuit
Comfy pajamas
Date night outfit
Warm beanie
Stylish sunglasses
Cozy loungewear
It can be easy to know what to pack for a ski vacation, but the focus should really be on pampering yourself and enjoying the serene mountain vibe. Consider bringing your favorite loungewear for cozy evenings, flip flops for that post-ski pedicure, and a swimsuit for a soothing soak in the hot tub after an adventurous day on the slopes. Whether you’re reconnecting with your hubby over a quiet dinner or indulging in some well-deserved “me time,” the style in Snowmass is all about effortless comfort and laid-back mountain chic.
The Family Sport
We spent a lovely end-of-year vacation in Snowmass Village, Colorado, with the whole family. I, for certain, had the best vacation to date!

   Love,
     Jean (world's best grandma)
Katie escaped us all to spend time with her new vacation friends!
Davis shocked us all with how quickly he has improved his skiing abilities, and it’s only his second year on snow!
David and Nora celebrated their 18th anniversary with dinner at the loveliest sushi restaurant
in town, Kenichi (who knew you could find sushi at 8,309 feet?).

If Grandma’s joining the trip, she’ll find plenty of ways to enjoy the mountain, too! She can show her grandkids her favorite runs, take a quiet, guided snowshoe tour through the forested trails, or hop on the Elk Camp Gondola to meet the family for lunch. After a day of making cherished memories, she can enjoy a relaxing afternoon of peace and quiet and watch the slopeside activities.
